CrowdStrike Acquires Onum for 290 Million Euros
On Mon, Sep 1, 2025, CrowdStrike announced the acquisition of Onum , a Madrid-based startup founded in 2023. The acquisition aims to enhance CrowdStrike's Falcon® Next-Gen SIEM solution and accelerate the implementation of autonomous SOCs integrating artificial intelligence.
Onum has developed a data architecture that transforms telemetry into actionable intelligence immediately upon emission. Its platform filters, enriches, and optimizes data streams in real-time, which avoids delayed processing typical of traditional SIEMs. The platform can process up to five times more events per second than its competitors, halve storage costs, and accelerate incident response by 70%.
This acquisition is part of CrowdStrike's strategy to integrate data at the core of its Falcon® platform. By incorporating Onum's technology, CrowdStrike aims to provide security teams with enriched and optimized real-time streams to improve threat detection and the efficiency of AI tools.

Onum had previously raised 28 million euros in April 2024 during a Series A round led by Dawn Capital, with participation from Kibo Ventures and Insight Partners. Its acquisition by CrowdStrike for approximately 290 million euros marks one of the fastest exits in the European cybersecurity ecosystem.
