The new processor, developed by Nvidia, is based on the Ampere architecture. It features 1,536 CUDA cores and 12 GB of LPDDR5X memory, delivering 3.07 TeraFLOPS in docked mode and 1.71 TeraFLOPS in portable mode.
Ray Tracing and HDR: The console includes advanced graphics capabilities with full hardware ray tracing and HDR technology for enhanced visual effects. Artificial Intelligence: Dedicated AI processors enhance gameplay in real-time, optimizing the gaming experience without developer intervention. Backward Compatibility: The architecture supports original Switch games, maintaining access to over 4,000 titles while enabling next-gen development.
